About Intentionally Classy is about bringing women together around saving, financial growth, community, and opportunity.
At the heart of Intentionally Classy is the stokvel.
For many years, women have come together through stokvels, umgalelo, chipereganyu, rounds, and other forms of group saving to save money, support one another, and reach goals that may have been harder to reach alone.
We believe in that power.
But we want to take it further.
The Power of Coming Together
A stokvel is more than putting money aside.
It is people coming together with a plan.
Different communities may use different names, such as stokvel, umgalelo, chipereganyu, or round, but the idea is familiar: people contribute regularly, support one another, and work towards shared goals.
Each person brings something to the table. Over time, that shared effort can create opportunities, reach important goals, and open new doors.
Intentionally Classy wants to create a modern space where this spirit can grow.
We want to help members learn about money, save wisely, invest, support businesses, explore opportunities, and create stronger financial futures.
Choice Is Power
We believe a woman should be able to make decisions because she has options, not because she has no other choice.
Financial stability can give her room to think, plan, and decide what is right for her.
It can help her stand on her own two feet, support her family, start something of her own, and plan for the future.

Meet the Founder
Hi, I’m Neema Kamwaza.
I founded Intentionally Classy because I believe women can create more when they have the right community around them.
I have always believed in the power of women coming together, sharing knowledge, saving, and creating opportunities for one another. That is why the stokvel is such an important part of the IC vision.
My goal is to create a practical and supportive space where women can learn, connect, grow their finances, and discover new possibilities.
I want every woman who enters this community to feel that she belongs, that her ideas matter, and that she has the tools to shape her own future.
This is why I created Intentionally Classy.
